Graded vs Freestyle: Which Learning Pathway Is Right for You?

Every ISOM course runs on two rails. The Graded Certification pathway is our academic track: structured curriculum, theory and practical assessments, level examinations, grades and a merit-classified certificate. It is built for learners who want music as a serious pursuit or career.

The Freestyle pathway keeps the same great teachers and live classes, but removes the exam pressure. You learn through songs you love, set personal goals with your teacher, and progress at your own pace — earning a Course Completion Certificate at each level.

Neither is lesser. Many students begin Freestyle, fall in love, and switch to Graded. The question is not which is better — it is which fits the life you are living right now.
